Our football club was founded in 2011 with a vision to establish a FA Charter Standard Development club, which we achieved in a record 5 months. Charter Standard is a programme set up by The FA in 2001 to raise the standards of grassroots football clubs and is for clubs which can demonstrate they are well run, sustainable and prioritise child protection, quality coaching and the implementation the FA’s Respect programme. We now have 24 teams including walking football and a thriving academy.
At AFC Andrews, our managers and coaches are enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to their team’s progress and development. All our managers/coaches are FA qualified with DBS, Safeguarding and Emergency first aid qualifications.
